Meet The Characters
RIYA
In the beginning of the novel we see her as vulnerable girl who often feels overwhelmed by the fear of failure.
As the story progresses, we see her growing up into a strong, independent woman who faces numerous challenges in her life but never gives up. Her ability to balance her vulnerabilities with her strengths makes her relatable and memorable.
RAVI
Ravi is charming and ambitious but also deeply introspective. His struggle with his ambitions and personal relationships adds a layer of depth to his character. He’s constantly evolving, and his growth shows the importance of self-reflection and change.
PREETI
The mysterious sex-worker who is vulnerable as well as endearing. Life forced her into circumstances she didn’t choose, but she learned to navigate the dangerous, shadowy world she now inhabits. Behind her mysterious exterior is a woman with deep emotional scars, who also has a flicker of hope for a better future.

After a long time came across such novel.
Reading it again would definitely be the same as reading it for the first time
"I really enjoyed reading Sujata Taterh's first book, Entangled Destinies. This book is about the life of a young girl, who in spite of all the adversities she faces in life, comes up trumps and finally finds the meaning of life. As I read the novel I got more and more involved with Riya's life and destiny. Once I started the book, I read it to the end in one sitting.
The novel has also very ably depicted the history of some of the ghats in Varanasi and has painted a very vivid picture of the lovely city of Varanasi and also the hustle bustle of Mumbai. Riya's journey of self discovery is very engaging. Both the intrigue in Riya's life and her finally finding the truth for herself have been intricately interwoven. The novel has combined the intrigue with the spiritual very well. The plot flows very smoothly and Sujata's command over the language is terrific.
In her debut novel Sujata has not only kept the reader thoroughly engaged but also wanting for more."
